Splendor Spotlight
Jennifer James uses various mediums, but primarily loves to use digital and oil alone and intermingled together to achieve a life-like depth and a porcelain like softness in her subjects.
Her piece "So zen about it all" was the promotional artwork for Splendor Device's "This Wilde Abyss" art show at Laguna Beach gallery Artist Republic 4 Tomorrow (AR4T). Her hero is actress Mary Pickford "Even though she was not a visual artist, film and animation continues to inspire me and she was at the forefront of female empowerment. She understood quality and was a genius. She even started United Artists and funded Walt Disney's cartoons. She was a woman and pioneer in the creative industry who kept her integrity and knew what she wanted and got it."
